Tally Riding Academy is nestled in the serene heart of Silverado Canyon, surrounded by the beauty of nature and wildlife. This peaceful ranch offers a sweet escape from the hustle + bustle of everyday life, allowing you to reconnect with the natural world while honing your riding skills in a tranquil, relaxing environment.
SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY.
We understand the risk associated interacting & riding horses. Tally Riding Academy Instructors & volunteers follow the safety standards set by PATH International, and are trained to utilize a logic based approach during an emergency.
Our protective headgear meets ASTM-FEI Standards and are replaced after every major incident/every 5 years. And, all Academy students are provided a helmet if they do not own one.

We emphasize the importance of educating our students, especially children, that riding a horse is not given...it is EARNED. And all the hard work, comes from spending time grooming, cleaning the stall, learning about horse anatomy/welfare & most importantly, building trust with horses on the ground. This serves as a solid foundation to help our students navigate their own relationship with our Academy's very special horses.
